3. User Authentication and Database
Supabase
We use Supabase for user authentication and database services. Supabase is provided by Supabase, Inc., 970 Toa Payoh North #07-04, Singapore 319000.

4. User-Generated Content and Image Storage
Recipe Content
When you create recipes on Treecipes, we store your recipe data (ingredients, instructions, descriptions) in our database hosted on Supabase. This data is associated with your user account and is necessary to provide the Service.
Image Storage
Images you upload for your recipes are stored in Supabase Storage. Images are processed (cropped and compressed) before upload to optimize storage and delivery. By uploading images, you acknowledge that:
- Images will be publicly accessible as part of your published recipes;
- Images are stored on servers which may be located outside of the EU;
- You can delete your images by removing them from your recipes or by requesting account deletion.
Content Retention
Your User Content (recipes and images) is retained as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete a recipe, the associated data is removed from our active database, though backups may be retained for a limited period in accordance with our data retention policies.
5. Analytics and Tools
Vercel Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how our website is used and to improve the user experience. Vercel Analytics collects anonymous usage data. It does not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or IP addresses.
Google Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform representation of fonts. The Google Fonts are installed locally or cached to minimize requests to Google servers where possible. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font is used by your computer.
