Getting Started

Treecipes helps you organize your recipes as visual, tree-structured graphs. Here's what you can do:

Import recipes: Share a recipe from your browser or paste text directly into the app. Our AI converts it into a structured recipe graph.
Scan recipes: Use the mobile app's camera to scan printed recipes or cookbook pages. Text recognition happens entirely on your device.
Create recipes: Build your own recipes from scratch using the visual editor.
Browse & discover: Explore recipes shared by the community, save your favorites, and leave ratings.

Account & Login

Signing In

You can sign in with your email address, or use Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In for a seamless one-tap login experience.

Forgot Your Password?

If you signed up with email and forgot your password, use the password reset page to receive a reset link via email.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the account settings page. For full details about what data is removed, see our Data Deletion page.

App Permissions (Mobile)

The Treecipes mobile app may request the following permissions:

Camera: Used only when you choose to scan a printed recipe or take a photo for your recipe. Images are processed on your device.
Photo Library: Used only when you select an existing photo to upload as a recipe image.

We never access your photos or camera in the background. These permissions are only activated when you explicitly use the corresponding feature.

Reporting Content

Treecipes has a built-in reporting feature. You can report individual recipes or comments directly using the report button available on each recipe page and on each comment. This is the fastest way to flag inappropriate content, copyright violations, or other issues.

If you prefer, you can also reach out to us directly at support@treecipes.com with a description of the issue and a link to the content in question.

Is Treecipes free to use?

Yes, Treecipes is free to use. You can create an account, import recipes, and use all core features at no cost.

How do I delete a recipe?

Navigate to the recipe you want to delete and use the delete option on the recipe page. This permanently removes the recipe and its associated images.

Is my data safe?

We take your privacy seriously. Recipe scanning and text recognition happen entirely on your device. Your account data is securely stored with our hosting provider. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Can I use Treecipes on both my phone and the web?

Yes! Treecipes is available as a web app and as a mobile app for Android and iOS. Your recipes sync across all devices when you're signed in with the same account.
